What Can I Expect?

What Can I Expect?

What to Expect at Precision Care Chiropractic

We know that calling a chiropractor for the first time, especially when you’ve been dealing with real pain for a long time - takes courage. You have probably wondered: Will this actually work? Will I be pressured into something? Will anyone actually listen to me?

We want to answer all of that before you even walk through our door.

Here is exactly what your experience at Precision Care looks like - from your very first phone call to the moment you get your life back.

Before Your First Visit

Getting started is simple. When you contact us, our team will:

  • Schedule you at a time that works for your life. We are open Monday through Thursday, mornings and afternoons
  • Send you your new patient paperwork to complete online ahead of time, so your first visit is spent on your health, not on a clipboard
  • Answer any questions you have before you arrive - no question is too small

A note before you come in:

If you have recent X-rays or MRI imaging, bring them. The more we know going in, the more we can tell you on Day 1. Wear comfortable clothing you can move in.

Your Patient Journey - Step by Step

Every patient at Precision Care moves through the same four stages. This is our Precision Healing Method™ — and it is the framework that separates what we do from every other chiropractic experience you may have had.

Visit 1

Your Discovery Appointment - We Listen First

Your first visit is not about treatment. It is about you. Dr. Bampoe will spend real time understanding your history, your pain, and your goals, because the best care starts with the right diagnosis.

  • In-depth health history - how long, how severe, what makes it better or worse
  • Postural and neurological examination
  • Review of any existing imaging (X-rays, MRI scans)
  • Orthopedic and range-of-motion testing
  • Honest conversation about what we find and what we think is causing your pain

Visit 2

Your Report of Findings - We Tell You the Truth

This is one of the most important appointments of your entire care journey. On your second visit, Dr. Bampoe will sit down with you and walk through everything she found in plain language, not medical jargon.

  • A clear explanation of what is happening in your spine and why you are in pain
  • Whether Precision Care can help you, and if not, an honest referral
  • A fully personalized care plan built around your specific condition and life
  • Exactly how long your care will take and what each phase will involve
  • A transparent breakdown of your investment - what insurance covers and what decompression costs
  • Time for all your questions - we do not rush this appointment

You will never be pressured. You will never be handed a plan without a full explanation. This is your health — and this decision belongs to you.

Relief Phase

Phase 1 - Getting You Out of Pain

Once your care plan begins, our first priority is meaningful relief. During this phase, your visits are more frequent — because consistency is what gets your nervous system and your discs responding to care.

  • Precise chiropractic adjustments targeting the structural source of your pain
  • Spinal decompression therapy (Back on Trac or Cervi-Trac) if clinically indicated
  • Therapeutic modalities to reduce inflammation and support healing
  • Regular progress check-ins so you always know how you are doing
  • Exercises or home care recommendations personalized to your phase of healing

Most patients begin noticing meaningful improvement within the first two to four weeks of consistent care. Some feel it sooner.

Correction + Stabilization

Phase 2 & 3 - Fixing the Cause, Making It Last

Relief is the beginning - not the destination. As your pain subsides, we shift focus to correcting the underlying structural problem and building the spinal stability that keeps the pain from returning.

  • Continued adjustments focused on structural correction and alignment
  • Graduated reduction in visit frequency as your spine strengthens
  • Functional and rehabilitative exercises to build long-term resilience
  • Progress re-examinations so you can see your improvement objectively
  • Education on how to protect your spine at work, at home, and during activity

Phase 4 - Wellness Care ( Always Your Choice)

After your corrective care plan is complete, many of our patients choose to continue with periodic wellness visits — not because they are in pain, but because they have discovered what it feels like to function at their best and they want to keep it that way.

Wellness care at Precision Care is always customized to your body, your lifestyle, and your goals. And it is always your decision - never an obligation.

What Success Looks Like at Precision Care

Our goal is never just to get you out of pain. It is to get you back to your life. Here is what that looks like for our patients when they complete their care plan:

  • Sleeping through the night without pain
  • Sitting at a desk or driving without dread
  • Exercising, hiking, or playing with their kids again
  • Avoiding the surgery that once felt inevitable
  • Traveling comfortably for work or pleasure
  • Standing, cooking, or working without constant awareness of their back
  • Feeling confident their spine is actually healing — not just managed
  • Not thinking about their pain every single hour of the day

Practical Things to Know

How long are appointments?

Your first visit typically runs 45–60 minutes. We give it the time it deserves. Your Report of Findings appointment is similar. Once your care plan is underway, regular visits are generally 20–30 minutes.

How often will I need to come in?

This depends entirely on your condition and your phase of care. Dr. Bampoe will outline your visit frequency clearly in your personalized care plan. Most active care patients visit two to three times per week during the relief phase, tapering as they progress.

Will I be adjusted on my first visit?

At Precision Care, we follow a deliberate two-appointment process, and here's why that matters for you.

Your first visit is dedicated entirely to your examination. Dr. Bampoe will spend that time reviewing your history, assessing your posture and mobility, and studying your X-rays carefully before recommending any treatment. In some cases, as part of your exam, she may perform a gentle, targeted adjustment to one area of the spine - not as formal treatment, but to assess how your spine moves and responds.

Your first full, official adjustment happens at your second visit,  after Dr. Bampoe has reviewed everything, identified the root cause of your pain, and built a care plan that is specific to your spine. Not a generic protocol. Yours.

This is intentional. We believe your spine deserves a doctor who has done her homework before she touches it.

What should I wear?

Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing you can move in. Athletic wear or casual clothes work well. You do not need to bring anything special for your first visit other than your completed intake forms and any existing imaging.

What is your cancellation policy?

We ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule. This allows us to offer your appointment time to another patient who needs care. We appreciate your respect for our team’s time - and we promise to always respect yours.

You have Read What to Expect. Now Take the First Step.

Your first visit at Precision Care is the beginning of something different - care that actually addresses the cause, a doctor who actually listens, and a plan that is built around your life.
